Dear patients,
DIAVERUM ROMANIA reminds you of the protection and safety measures you need to maintain throughout the alert state.
We wish the medical activity in Diaverum clinics to be carried out in the safest and best conditions, for you and also for all the other patients and for this we need your permanent support.
In the context of recent conditions relaxation, the risk of SARS CoV-2 contamination continues to be increased. There is still a lot of uncertainty about the new virus and that's why each of us has to be RESPONSIBLE for our own protection and also for the protection of those around us.
Therefore, in addition to the specific information provided to you by the medical team in the clinics, we remind you that during the alert state the following rules are mandatory:
- Wearing a protective mask in any enclosed public space, in commercial premises, in public transportation ways, during the transport to and from the clinic, at work, for the entire duration of your presence in any of the clinic premises; it is forbidden to touch the mask during wearing and when touching the mask, hands should be sanitized with alcohol-based solution or soap and water;
- Avoiding crowded places and enclosed public spaces;
- Conduct epidemiological triage before entering the clinic; your answers to the questions asked by Diaverum staff during the triage procedure must be true, accurate and complete.
- Mandatory hand disinfection or rigorous hand washing for at least 20 seconds to prevent contamination.
As you already know, the infection with the new coronavirus is a community-transmitted infection, which is why you may still be experiencing a situation where your dialysis colleagues or family members become infected. Therefore, we underline the importance of strictly complying with all the rules
communicated by the medical staff in your clinic, inside the clinic, but also at home or anywhere else.
We assure you that a number of rigorous preventive measures have been implemented in our clinics to continue to treat you safely. Depending on the evolution of the situation, DIAVERUM medical team will update the protocols on the reorganisation of activity and the monitoring of dialysis patients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
We continue to fight against this new disease, we are focusing our efforts to minimize the risk of the new coronavirus spreading within DIAVERUM dialysis clinics, so that we can keep you safe and protect your health. It is, however, a common RESPONSIBILITY and we all need to respect the simple preventive measures.
